18 Months

This is a little late but Koy hit is 18 month mark last month. He is so much fun right now!
He weighed in at a whopping 22 lbs. That puts him in the 10th percentile for weight and he's in the 40th percentile for height. He's in the 1st percentile for hair growth. He still hasn't got a whole lot. It's thin and very light... so you can't really see it.
We've finally hit the point where he HATES the Dr. It's really fun. Wow. While we were at his check-up the Dr. noticed that his left eye was turned in a bit... I hadn't noticed and neither had Justin but a lot of other people had. Oops. He does look cross-eyed and looking back at pictures I can certainly tell now.
I took him to the eye Dr. last week but that was pretty much a waste of time. Koy was so naughty! He got upset the second we went into the exam room and it was 30 minutes of pinning him down while the Dr. pried open his eyelids to look at his eyes. The Dr. said the worst part would be putting the eye drops in but nope, that wasn't the worst part. It just went down hill from there. By the time we left his office, my ears hurt from Koy screaming and I just wanted to go home and take a nap. As far as the Dr. can tell, he doesn't need glasses or an eye patch. We are going to wait for another 9 months or so to see if it straightens out, but if it doesn't, he'll have to have the muscle on the inside part of his eye cut and re-attached. Sounds fun. :)
Koy is at a such fun age. He is running around like crazy and talking so much. Some of his favorite words are: duck, side (for slide and outside), Soya (for Sawyer, Melissa's dog. He stands at the back window looking for him a lot.), Buckee (pick-up... it's a little off), there he is (when he finds something... or if you find him), shoes, boots, nack (snack), night night and many more. He picks up and tries to say new words all of the time. The other day Justin was making the bed and Koy looked at the lamp and said, "ball" when he saw the light bulb and Justin said, "No, it's a light." Koy said back, "No, it's a ball." It's mushed together when he says some things but he tries and it makes me laugh.
He is in nursery now and loves it. We have great leaders that let us take him in to play for a while before he was old enough to stay in there on his own and I think it helped a ton because he doesn't seem to have any problems now.

We've gone to the Whittier Center Park and few times and it is by far my favorite park in Logan. No joke! It's so cute and it has rubber mats covering the ground so you don't have to deal with wood chip getting all over everything, or your kid eating the wood chips. Koy was so brave today and went down the big kid slide all by himself. He was laughing so hard when he got to the bottom. He sure thinks he is big stuff.

He likes to wear big people shoes.

He likes to eat pancake batter, but not the pancakes.
Seriously, that's just gross.

He eats his bubble bath... hoepfully it won't make him sick.

It snowed in March and I couldn't get him to walk out in the snow. He just wanted to eat it too.

First full day of nursery. The paper is almost bigger than him.
This is just a cute pic of Koy and his dad. They are so cute together.

Sunday Shoes

It's so cute when a little kid puts their shoes on the wrong feet.

It's HILARIOUS when halfway through sacrament meeting, your husband realizes that he's put your son's shoes on the wrong feet.

Oh Justin. You make me laugh!

Buffalo Koy

Psh. Who needs Baby Animal Days when your friend owns baby buffalo? Justin's friend Clint breaks cutting horses and this is the runt of the herd of baby buffalo he just bought. Koy thought it was awesome and he loved sitting on it. He even cried when Justin handed him back over the fence to me.

Not many kids can say they've ridden a buffalo but Koy can. He probaby could have stayed at Clint's ranch all day and played in the mud and poop. He is such a little boy.

Happy Easter!

Two Easter Bunnies made a visit to this little monster...

He loved the bubble bath... but probably just because it had "Emo" (Elmo) on it.
The "Swiss" Easter Bunny gave him a chocolate bunny the size of his head and some m&m's that he was so excited about he was trying to eat them through the bag.
He had a constant ring of chocolate around his mouth this weekend but it was fun to see him show a little interest in the basket. It just makes me more excited for next year!

Of course, he had to have some Dr. Pepper. After he had a few drinks, I thought he was going to be wired but he took turns snuggling with mom and dad on the couch and then finally sat next to me, leaned his head over on my lap and fell asleep. He's learned way too fast from his dad to fall asleep during conference. J/k. It was so cute just because he NEVER falls asleep anywhere besides his bed or the carseat.
We love you Koy Boy!

We hope everyone else had a great Easter weekend and we missed those of our family that we didn't get to see!

As of lately-

These are just a few pics of what we have been up to lately.
It was still freezing cold about a month ago and Koy and I were going crazy in the house so we went to the park one day after Justin got home from work. Koy loves the park. He loves the slides the most right now and when he goes down them he says "sick." Hmmm... wierd lingo for a 17 month old but whatever...

He's just so excited that it kills me.
So excited!
He giggled the first little bit in the swing but it looks like he's giving it a "thumbs down."

Going on the slide by himself. He thinks he's so big.
This is what happens when you give him something in a plastic bag. It usually ends up dumped out on the floor.
I was hurrying to get some things done before we went to St. George so I threw our coats in to the washer. When it finished and I opened the washer, I found that Koy had loaded something that he thought needed washed.
Our friends Dan and Chels came up from Vegas and met is in St. George for the weekend. We spent one day in Zion and then we did some church history stuff on Saturday.

Looking at the view of the park.

Koy likes dirt.

Ice + Koy = Love
Seriously, that's all he wanted to eat.

It's raining babies!

Seriously though! Heather and Sam had their baby on Monday and Brady and Christi had their little girl on Wednesday! How fun, right? So far, I can happily say that both babies look like dolls to me and I want to just hold them both! Also, they both have more hair than Koy. He's a little jealous. Little Emmary is in the NICU still but they brought her to the window last night for us to see. It made me a little teary-eyed to see my Bagle holding his little girl! It was sweet. We are so excited to have two new little babies in our family. Also, Heidi has been pulled from the terd list for posting pics of her house that they've lived in for like EVER! :) Thanks Heidi and your house looks so nice. We'll have to come and visit sometime soon but that's all up to your brother.

Congrats!

Heather and Sam had their little baby boy yesterday and we are so excited! So far we've only had a couple of pics on the phone and we can't wait to see more of him! (We really should just go down and see him in real life.) Hopefully they'll update their blog soon. (Hint, hint... kind of. You guys have a good excuse right now.) Or maybe Heidi will update her blog (hint, hint, HINT!) and put pictures of him up for the rest of us to see. :) Sorry Heidi, you have no excuse so please get on that. (Also, some pics of your house would be nice, you terd!)

That's all!
