Before We Moved

K man helped to put little brother down for a nap.
That lasted less than 2 seconds.

The day Justin took of K's training wheels.
Pro. The very first time.
He was so proud!

Basking in the April morning sun.

Cousins

Before Justin got an offer for his new job,
"San Antonio" kept popping up in random places.

Having fun with Kayden, Morgan and Tate at Hill.

Riding off into the sunset with his wife.

I planted tomatoes and peas against our back fence.
They were rocking it this year.
Too bad we weren't able to take full advantage
of the produce before we moved.

Saying goodbye to friends.
Good thing they didn't really understand until after we moved.

This makes me laugh every time.
Totally Beck. He's so funny.

Little T

Little T turned two last year.
Cough, cough.
He's grown a ton since.
This little boy is a nut and he is
always copying what other people say.
And growling.
He growls a lot.
And screams.
And cries.
Tender boy.
We love him and try to squish him as much
as we can to make him stay little.
He just won't.

Tents and train tracks.
Winters seemed so long in Logan.
We had to come up with new ways to stay entertained.

T would actually try this too.
Glad we haven't had a broken bone yet.
Knock. On. Wood.

He had a monster party but mostly because
his mamma has given up on cakes
and these cupcakes were so easy.

New wheels.

This makes me laugh.
He likes to line stuff up.
There is a pic my mom took of me
when I was little and I was organizing
all of the hairbrushes and elastics.
Luckily Justin likes things clean and organized too.
We're not OCD but life is happier when there aren't messes.
Hopefully this kid likes things clean
and organized too. We'd like that.

Catching Fire... or just catching up.

A LOT has happened since the last post and it's my goal to get this bad boy updated. Because, it's just so dear to my heart. Actually, it's not that dear, but a lot has happened and this is a fun way to attach pictures to stories for our families. Here. We. Go. (And not in order because that would make too much sense.)

Christmas 2012

Little D came for a visit. She's a happy baby!

Jammies from Laura and Sandra

Addicted to tape and taping stuff on the fridge.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

No! No! No!

Seeing the elk with Hil and Jordan

Mexican orange soda at La Tormenta.
We miss the cheap mexican food there!

Drawing on steamed up windows.

Flaying "fuzz". We're creative with our names.

Eating frosting. Obviously.

Cheeser.

New belt. Ye-haw!

Falling asleep after the eye dr.

Riding the carousel with G'ma Kimmy at Scheels.

The jump zone. It is awesome!

Fingers up the nose. Sick.

LOVES puzzles!

Wrote embarrassing stuff on Justin's truck for V-Day.
It was just embarrassing for both of us.

Sweet boy.

Naughty boy.

Sweet baby! He was just so little here!
Now he's almost 3!

One of these is not like the other ones...

Justin sent me this picture one day.
This is what his goats do when he walks into the barn.
It's almost like they think he's their master or something.
(He must have made a huge genetic alteration to their brains if you ask me...)
So which one is not like the others?
Well, they are all the same!
These are bonafide clones.
I think it's cool!
These are the product of their cloning last year
and new baby clones are to be born any day now.
My husband's a mad scientist!
Wa ha ha ha ha!

2012 - The Hall Way

Blogging has been put on the back burner at our house.
So here is a wrap up of 2012.
This is the shlong version of things.
It was intended to be short, but there are just too many pictures
that we... I want to remember.

The year started off with a bang.
We took the dam IQ quiz on our way to AZ in January.
We're not that dam intelligent...

Our niece Afton passed away shortly after she was born.
Wow. That was heartbreaking.
Watching Sam carry his newborn daughter's casket was
so sad and something no father should ever have to do.
But he did it with such strength.
It's so hard to watch someone you love go through something so hard.
We sure do love you guys!
What a great example they have been through this and
we can't wait to meet sweet Afton for ourselves.
I didn't want to blog about it because it seems like such an impersonal
thing to do but I just loved the picture of Heather, Sam and Carson.
They probably have 50 like it, but I just loved how Sam is
comforting Heather and Carson is looking at the sky.
A month later Justin's cousin's Brooke and Brad said goodbye to their baby boy.
Kind of an unexpected way to start off the year.
(We love you guys too!)

The snow finally fell and was warm enough for the boys to play in.
Koy and Brody could play and eat that stuff all day.

I would let Koy go play on the back porch in it while Titan was napping.
He would just stick his face against the window when he was ready to come in.
I jumped out and scared him a few times.
It was awesome.
Once the snow melted, we hit up every warm day to go outside.
The boys played Nephites for FHE
and Koy got his first shot at musical chairs.
It was so funny when he couldn't find his chair!

Titan Turned one. He's so little here!

Justin had a streak of bad luck. He was issued the Devil's parking permit
and then the Bishopric got suckered into a pie-eating contest.
Luckily Mark got to feed Justin... the others weren't so lucky.

We play trains and be silly, a lot.
Not sure why Koy isn't wearing his pants but he
wasn't happy when I took a picture of him.

We went shooting.
Justin's good.
I'm not.
Koy danced 'till he dropped and Titan stuffed his face.

Easter was a long celebration with neighborhood kids and family.
I found my dream house.
It's all about location, and it's got it.
We just drive up to it and stare at the view.
So rewarding... Not.

My mom and sisters and I went to St. George for a sister's weekend.
My mom's car broke down on the way
and then my grandma Thornock passed away that night.
My mom headed home and my Grandma Pickle entertained us.
She's so funny!
That's where my sister's get it.
I love Laurie's fake reading...

Our friend Laura went through chemo during the spring.
The boys and I would go sit with her for a little bit during her 5 hour treatments.
We would only stay about an hour, but she just loves the boys.
When she was finished with her treatments, she stopped by
one night with a gift for the boys. They LOVE it... and it's fun for
big people too. Until your hip locks up or something but
we love this rocking horse!

Here are random pics from just playing outside.
Koy almost always has to wear a hat or a helmet.
They started joy school and two of his best buddies
are in it this year.
Justin always gives me that "why the heck are you taking a picture of me" look.
He called me his "old lady" so he deserves it.
It's my goal to get as many pictures of this look as I can.

My mom turned "50" this year and we got her a little
sumthin' sumthin' sexy.
It was SO funny!
The best reaction was Bagle.
He had no idea that's what I got her.
That'll teach them to go in on a gift with me!
We did a jellybean puzzle. It was freaking hard and it said it was for like 8 year olds!
And I did some canning. My friend Hailey helped me
do peaches and then we were going to do pickles and
she went into labor and had her baby.
So I did some pickles, pears and tomatoes too.
Justin helped with the pears and Stef helped me with the tomatoes.
We love the pickles! Mmmm!

Halloween was funny. Laura made Koy a vest and he wore a nerdy
hat for half the day and then we ditched it.
We went trick or treating on main with "Uncle Justin", Mary Poppins and
Melissa and Drew. They totally won the cutest costume.
Seriously?! Aren't they the cutest?!

We went to AZ for Thanksgiving. Koy drew all over himself and his
car seat with dry-erase marker. He tried to hide his arms from me.
Not realizing I could see the marker on his face still.
He got to ride Ol' Dunny and fell off Ol' Dunny.
They are still friends.

Christmas came and my sister came from Cali.
It was fun and Paige is a nut!
We need her at our house.
We had probably the most irreverent nativity
ever and it included the Ninja shepherd.
Betcha didn't know about that guy!

It finally snowed again and it is colder than crap!
We braved it one day...
or should I say the boys braved it. I went in the house.
Jared pulled the boys around their house on the sled and
let Koy drive the mini sled.
He thinks it's awesome.

We didn't accomplish a whole lot last year besides staying alive.
I hit my goal of running 400 miles and ended up running 410.
It was actually my goal to wear my running shoes out but
they still feel fine. Better luck next time!
And here is to a better year of blogging... but don't count on it. :)
