Blogging is for Girls...

Hello everyone. Sorry it's been so long since WE'VE had a new post on here. I've been waiting for Justin to do it and he said that blogging is for girls. However ladies, he will be doing "play by play" sports commentary when the baby comes. He thinks it'll be funny. We'll see if the computer makes it home from the hospital in one piece especially once he starts laughing and won't tell me what he is typing. It could be a little intense. . . We might need Kimmy there to slap him on the head if he starts putting too much information or compares me to a cow or horse. It'll give him something to do though and that will actually be a relief. He gets so bored at the hospital.

We have a little over two weeks left until the baby's official due date. Things have been going really well and we have another appointment tomorrow. I didn't ask any questions at the last one. When Justin's not there I always forget anything I want to ask. Justin usually has some pretty logical questions for the Dr. (Justin will be getting medicinal marijuana during the delivery. J/k.)

Anyway, we went up Providence canyon a little while ago and had a cookout w/Brady and Christi. It was really fun to hang out with those two and the boys cooked dinner in their dutch ovens. We had BBQ chicken, potatoes and peach cobbler. Yum! Here are some pictures we took:

We were also told that we were going to have to move the truck because some guy had built fences around the fire pit and was just mad the fence could be moved to back a truck into the place. He had threatened that the sheriff was going to come and impound the truck, but nothing gets by Brady and Justin. They asked him where the sign was posted saying we couldn't be in there and the guy was like, "Uh...it's not right here but it's on a piece of paper at the bottom of the canyon." He ended up leaving and guess what? No sheriff ever came by. We figured he built the fences for community service and was just upset that someone was smart enough to get in there. (It really wasn't rocket science when the fence isn't anchored to the ground in anyway...) We still had a good time though.

Your cookout sounds so fun. That food sounds good. Wish we could have gone with you!
By the way, as soon as I opened up your page and saw that the little baby thing said 16 day, I couldn't believe it!! It's so close! I'm so excited for you!

What a jerk-that guy up the canyon! :) Looks like you had fun! Oh, and don't worry about Justin comparing you to a horse or a cow. Bo told me when we have a baby he is just planning on bringing the calf puller to the hospital. Oh and then my sister in law and I were talking about how pregnant women's horomones get all out of wacked. Bo was like, I don't understand all that stuff, bla bla bla. And then he was like, well, I guess I can kind of understand it, cause when a cow is pregnant she gets a little goofy too. Gosh, gotta love our husbands huh? :)
