Throbbing Stupidity

So Thursday I was shoeing a few horses and tried to overpower a horse as he tried to put his hind foot down. I had a hold of his hoof, and most of the time they'll quit fighting if you just give them a minute. This horse wasn't even a rank one, he was just determined to put his foot down. So, like an idiot, I hung on and he stepped on my ring finger and skinned my pinky. If I would have had my ring on it probably would have chopped my finger off. The horse stepped down and then to the side, and I simultaneously jerked my hand out from underneath him, peeling the skin off of the back side. There wasn't enough skin or hide to stitch anything to, so I just wrapped it up, finished the horse, and came home. Now I'm milking it for all it's worth. Turns out I wont be able to do dishes for a very very long time. Doctor's orders. I must say it looks a lot better after 3 days.

I am sure you are milking that one for all you can-not doing the dishes :) hee hee But ouch, that hurts. Bo got a nail rammed through his knee by trying to hold on to his mare's foot. I don' tknow why you boys think you are so tough. Hahaha, jk
